My Experience
Pluralsight
Lead Graphic Designer | January - June 2025 | Remote
As a lead graphic designer on Pluralsight's marketing team, I had a hand in all marketing materials, ensuring consistency across digital campaigns, in-person conferences, social media, and branded content. My role involved collaborating with cross-functional teams, from product managers to content strategists and copywriters, to create compelling visuals that communicated our brand message effectively.
As a designer on the Author Enablement team, I led impactful design initiatives to enhance the author experience. My role involved redesigning the main slide deck template for authors, as well as overhauling the entire icon library (over 2,000 icons) to incorporate the updated Pluralsight brand. In addition, I led the concepting and branding for Author Summit, Pluralsight's annual conference for authors. This covered logo design, illustration, print materials, web design, and environmental design. I also created assets for internal communications between Pluralsight and its authors.
Graphic Designer | March 2022 - January 2025 | Remote
Envy Labs
Senior Designer | Oct. 2017 - March 2022 | Orlando, FL
I was responsible for heading up all internal design and marketing: from posters, business cards, and t-shirts, to social media and email newsletters (copy and imagery) and photography. I worked on client projects whenever an extra hand was needed for branding, illustration, and/or UI design.
Code School / Pluralsight
Designer | Nov. 2014 - Oct. 2017 | Orlando, FL/Remote
For the first few months at Code School, I worked on a team to brand their fun, online, interactive computer programming courses. I then switched over to the marketing team and worked on designing anything from t-shirts, to online ads, to marketing campaigns.
Starting February 1, 2017, Code School began to integrate into Pluralsight, which acquired them in 2015. From then on, I worked almost exclusively on their marketing materials, like online ads for webinars, new online marketing campaigns, and printed pamphlets and flyers.
4R Restaurant Group
Designer | Aug. 2013 - Nov. 2014 | Orlando, FL
I designed for both restaurants under the 4R Restaurant Group umbrella (4 Rivers Smokehouse and The COOP), taking projects from concept to finish. My work ranged from flyers and Facebook ads to internal branding and food photography to packaging design for rubs and sauces.
Nice Branding Agency
Designer | Nov. 2012 - June 2013 | Lakeland, FL
I worked on designs for anything from business cards and letterheads to posters and banners. I was also responsible for the social media aspect of multiple companies.
Publix Super Markets
Design Intern/Ad Layout Artist | July 2012 - Dec. 2012 | Lakeland, FL
I had two different positions: Studio Designer (intern) and Ad Layout Artist. For the Studio Designer position, I mostly updated older designs to be reprinted and placed in Publix stores and/or online, resized documents and photos, and checked proofs to make sure they were ready to be printed. For the Ad Layout position, I worked on 3 to 4 pages per week for the weekly newspaper ads. Most importantly, I enjoyed the free hot lunches.
