My Experience
Pluralsight
Lead Graphic Designer | January - June 2025 | Remote
As a lead graphic designer on Pluralsight's marketing team, I had a hand in all marketing materials, ensuring consistency across digital campaigns, in-person conferences, social media, and branded content. My role involved collaborating with cross-functional teams, from product managers to content strategists and copywriters, to create compelling visuals that communicated the brand message effectively.
As a designer on the Author Enablement team, I led impactful design initiatives to enhance the author experience. The largest part of my role was leading the direction and design for Author Summit, Pluralsight's annual conference for authors. This covered logo design, illustration, print materials, web design, digital ads, and environmental design. In addition, my role involved redesigning the main slide template that authors use for their courses, as well as overhauling the entire icon library (over 2,000 icons) to incorporate the updated Pluralsight brand. I also created assets for internal communications between Pluralsight and its authors.
Graphic Designer | March 2022 - January 2025 | Remote
Envy Labs
Senior Designer | Oct. 2017 - March 2022 | Orlando, FL
As a senior designer, I was responsible for a wide range of internal design and marketing projects, from posters, business cards, and branded apparel to social media campaigns and email newsletters, where I created both visuals and copy. I also produced in-house photography to support marketing needs and ensure consistency across channels. In addition to internal work, I provided support on client projects, contributing to branding, illustration, and UI design.
Code School / Pluralsight
Designer | Nov. 2014 - Oct. 2017 | Orlando, FL/Remote
During my time at Code School, I began by working closely with the design team to help brand their interactive online programming courses, creating visuals that matched the company’s playful and approachable learning style. After several months, I joined the marketing team, where my responsibilities expanded to include designing t-shirts, online ads, and full-scale marketing campaigns.
When Code School began integrating into Pluralsight in early 2017, my role shifted almost entirely to marketing. I created a wide range of promotional materials, from digital ads for webinars and new online campaigns to printed pamphlets and flyers, ensuring consistency across both digital and print channels during the transition.
4R Restaurant Group
Designer | Aug. 2013 - Nov. 2014 | Orlando, FL
At 4R Restaurant Group, I designed for both 4 Rivers Smokehouse and The COOP, taking projects from initial concept through final production. My work spanned a diverse mix of deliverables, including all printed materials, Facebook ads, internal branding pieces, and food photography. I also created packaging designs for retail products such as rubs and sauces.
Nice Branding Agency
Designer | Nov. 2012 - June 2013 | Lakeland, FL
In this role, I designed a variety of print collateral, ranging from business cards and letterheads to large-scale posters and banners. Beyond print, I also managed the social media presence for multiple companies, creating visuals and content that aligned with each brand’s identity and helped engage their audiences.
Publix Super Markets
Design Intern/Ad Layout Artist | July 2012 - Dec. 2012 | Lakeland, FL
At Publix, I held two positions that gave me experience in both production design and advertising layout.
As a Studio Designer (Intern), I supported the creative team by updating existing designs for reprint in stores and online, resizing documents and photos for multiple formats, and carefully reviewing proofs to ensure accuracy before they went to print.
Later, as an Ad Layout Artist, I was responsible for producing 3–4 pages each week for Publix’s weekly newspaper ads, balancing efficiency with attention to detail to deliver consistent, high-quality layouts on tight deadlines.
